I like Halloween. It's not a very popular holiday in Portugal, but little by little it's becoming more of a tradition here.
But i think that you should always enjoy the holidays, even the ones that are still a bit forgotten. why? it's just another excuse to bake pie. and decorate your house. and carve a pumpkin. need more reasons??
I was babysitting my three nephews the other day and decided we should make some halloween decorations. i was a bit bummed out, because we didn't have lots of material, but i decided to teach them how to make paper bats anyway, with plain white paper and a black marker. which proves that kids enjoy any project, it's always fun for them!
You'll need: paper (in the color you prefer), pencil, scissors, markers
1/2. draw the bat shape, or you can print a bat pattern from the net (go here)
3. cut out your pattern
4/5/6. paint and color your bats as you wish
And then start decorating! We put ours on the fridge.
